Anne L. Horgan is principal in the firm of Anne L. Horgan & Company Solicitors, a firm which
she founded in 1985.  She qualified as a solicitor in the early 1980s. A native of West Cork she set up in practice in 1985 in Blackrock Village where she still operates today.  She has a wide range of experience as a practising solicitor since then in every aspect of general practice.  In particular in more recent years she has mainly practiced in the area of general litigation to include family law, personal injury and equity/common law disputes. She has wide experience as a court advocate.  She has a particular interest in family law and has practised very extensively in that area for many years and is regarded as a leader in the field of family law having established her reputation in that area many years ago and tutored extensively in the Law Society’s Law School. She has given talks in the past to colleagues on various aspects of family law and in more recent years has undertaken work as an expert on behalf of Plaintiffs and Defendants in negligence cases involving the family law area and has produced reports and attended court in relation to this work.

Lillian McCormack has already established a reputation and profile in all areas of law in Blackrock Village in the longstanding firm of Anne L. Horgan & Co., Solicitors.

Lillian practises mainly in the areas of Probate and Wills, Residential Conveyancing and Employment Law. Lillian has a particular interest in Probate and Employment Law and her main objective is to serve her clients with empathy and professionalism whilst acknowledging the emotional difficulties that her clients experience at what can be a very stressful time.

Lillian is a member of the STEP Ireland branch of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) which provides a more in depth understanding of all types of Probate applications and their nuances.

Lillian also practises in the area of Civil Litigation and Debt Collection.

Gemma is our most experienced Legal Executive and is the longest serving member of our legal team, having commenced with Anne L Horgan & Company Solicitors in February 2000. Gemma has 34 years experience in general legal practice and has in depth expertise and a commitment to excellence in the areas of Residential Conveyancing, Family Law, Probate, Litigation and Employment Law. Gemma holds a Certificate in Legal Studies from the Southern Law Association.
Gemma is also the Accounts Manager with sole responsibility for all legal accounts, client reconciliations, end of year accounts and third party and international payments. This role comes with huge responsibility and one which makes her an even more invaluable member of our team.

Paula Healy has an impressive career spanning over three decades, with a wealth of experience and knowledge. Her areas of expertise encompass all facets of Conveyancing, Family Law, Probate, Litigation, and Debt Collection.

Paula graduated with a Diploma in Legal Studies and Practice from Griffith College and she is a full member of the Irish Institute of Legal Executives (M.I.I.L.Ex). Paula also holds a Certificate in Legal Studies from the Southern Law Association.

Paula’s role within the firm is both crucial and multidimensional. She works closely with Anne Horgan who is the firm’s main Family Law Solicitor. This close working relationship facilitates  seamless communication with her clients. Her client-centric approach is evident in her daily interactions, making her an extremely reliable and approachable figure within the firm.

Denise is a highly skilled and dedicated legal secretary with over 10 years’ experience in the legal field, case management and client relations. She is a valued team member and always goes above and beyond in every situation. Denise has experience in Probate and Wills and is client focused in this very sensitive area of law.
