Anne L. Horgan is a partner in the firm of Anne L. Horgan & Company Solicitors LLP, a firm which she founded in 1985.  She qualified as a solicitor in the early 1980s. A native of West Cork she set up the practice in 1985 in Blackrock where it still operates today.  She has a wide range of experience as a practising solicitor since then in every aspect of general practice.  In particular in more recent years she has mainly practiced in the area of general litigation to include family law, personal injury and equity/common law disputes. She has wide experience as an advocate in the District Court and is also very familiar with High Court and Circuit Court litigation.  She has a particular interest in family law and has practised very extensively in that area for many years and is regarded as a leader in the field of family law having established her reputation in that area many years ago.   She is on the panel to assist solicitors in difficulty with the Law Society and in the past tutored extensively in the Law Society’s Law School.  She has given talks in the past to colleagues on various aspects of family law and in more recent years has undertaken work as an expert on behalf of Plaintiffs and Defendants in negligence cases involving the family law area and has produced reports and attended court in relation to this work.

Tracie M. Nolan

Solicitor Partner

Tracie Nolan graduated from UCC with an Honours BCL in 1991 and thereafter studied at The Law Society of Ireland in Dublin.  Tracie qualified as a solicitor in 1994 initially working in her hometown of Skibbereen in West Cork and subsequently coming to join the firm of Anne L. Horgan & Company Solicitors LLP in 1999 as an associate solicitor and soon after being appointed as a Partner in that practice.  Tracie has also been admitted to the Role of Solicitors in England and Wales since 1997 and has also obtained certification in Effective Personal Productivity through Leadership Management Ireland in 2003. Tracie also tutored in The Law Society of Ireland Professional Training Course for Solicitors and she is a member of the Southern Law Association. Tracie is a well established Litigation and Family Law practitioner and a trusted expert and also has extensive experience in all areas of residential and commercial conveyancing.  Tracie’s client base spans West Cork, Cork City and County and beyond.  Tracie has over 20 years’ experience in general practice with a known speciality in Personal Injury Litigation, Conveyancing and Family Law.  Tracie has had successes in multiple complex cases involving medical negligence, Divorce, Separation, child custody and access issues.

Lillian McCormack

Office Manager / Trainee Solicitor

Lillian obtained an honours degree in Law and Business from Waterford Institute of Technology in 2007. Having spent over nine years working  in the Financial Services industry she became a qualified payroll technician and also received a BA in Human Resources.Lillian is the office manager for Anne L. Horgan & Company Solicitors LLP where she also has responsibility for the solicitor and office accounts.

After pursuing a career path in both finance & HR, Lillian returned to  law and recently passed all eight FE1’s in March sitting 2021.  Lillian is currently a trainee solicitor in Anne L Horgan & Company  Solicitors LLP.
